A wandering and evocative storyteller, Matt Sier sings and plays the guitar, banjo, harmonica and tin whistle. His music blends his own unique Australian rural sounds with hints of old-timey, celtic and country folk/blues music. Over the last few years he has played shows in Australia and overseas, as well as being billed at some Aussie festivals with some top acts!
On 4 March 2024, Matt released the album, Left Road, Right Road which contains several self-penned numbers, some co-writes with the album's producer Adam Holmes, as well as some traditional material. Holmes' beautiful musicianship across the album cannot be overstated. Tracks from Left Road, Right Road have been played on various Aussie radio programs.
